All-Terrain Fun: Texas Trail Ripping

On June 15, 2008, Terry Wilmeth set the speed record on an ATV in Madras Oregon. 196.19 miles per hour. Crazy, right? In Texas, we might not go that fast, but we still like to go pretty darn fast.

Get ready to fire up your four wheeler this summer and gun it out on the open dirt. There are plenty of places to go offroading near Dallas. Among our favorites are Underground Motorcross in Kemp and River Run Park in Jacksonville.

Best of all, at 505 Ranch, we have a weaving ATV course, full of paperclip-tight turns, and gnarly bumps. You shouldn’t have to go far from home to get the adrenaline pumping. Our residents pretty much get around however floats their boat (literally).

Carve out some time for you and your family: get in touch with us about what living on Cedar Creek Lake is all about.

(And now, for the boring part)

Yeah, we get it, riding ATVs can be as dangerous as it can be fun. If there could only be one rule, it’d be always wear a helmet. Always. Flipping your rig can be no joke, and it can happen to anyone. So be careful out there, okay?
