Watersports at 505 Ranch Club

If the confines of the pool don’t appeal to your adventurous spirit, head out on the beautiful, open waters of Cedar Creek Lake and enjoy any of our community’s water sports.

Water skiing is the undisputed king of water sports, and rightfully so. Suitable for novices and experts alike, this highly customizable sport is an opportunity for families and friends to create lasting memories, take incredible photos, and participate in full-body fitness.

Another of the most popular water sports at Cedar Creek Lake is paddle boarding. A truly enjoyable blend of adventure and relaxation, exercise and exhilaration, paddle boarding will give you freedom to explore the lake at your own pace. Head out solo or in a group; either way, the beauty of Cedar Creek Lake is sure to captivate you during this up-close encounter.
If you’re not quite that adventurous, perhaps a quiet sail may be that opportunity you need to relax. Head out in a canoe with a book and a picnic basket or take your sweetheart with you if you’re looking to boost those romance points.

Alternatively, we know there are plenty of sailing enthusiasts who would rather seize the opportunity to fish for some of the fish that are plentiful in these idyllic waters. A prepared angler can tackle one of our catfish species (blue, channel, and flathead all make Cedar Creek Lake their home) bass (white, largemouth, or hybrid striped populations thrive here), or crappie. Get ready to take lots of selfies with your haul!

Finally, for anglers who are happy on the docks, Cedar Creek Lake’s large bass are happy to bite your Texas rigged worms and frogs. Join us in the spring and summer to take advantage of the very best fishing the lake has to offer.
